BFU Brooks..... Naji's Bush Scenery

DESCRIPTION: With BFU Brooks, BFU enters the faraway bush country of northern Alaska. Located at Coldfoot in the southern foothills of the Brooks mountains, this base will cater to the needs of visitors to the area, and of sportsmen who indulge in hunting and fishing. This scenery package consists of three sceneries: our new northern base BFU Brooks, Moose Camp and Moose Lodge. The camp sits in the mountains on a small lake, whereas the lodge is situated on the shore of a large lake. Visitors are flown into Coldfoot from Fairbanks, then on to the camp or lodge as desired. Moose Camp and Moose Lodge will not show on the GPS, and of course do not have an NDB or similar to guide you. You'd better start in the camp/lodge, and fly toward Coldfoot to get to know the area. The sceneries have only been tested with the default mesh.
TEXTURES REQUIRED: You need Airport textures and Gerrish Gray's trees to be installed. Please back up first the FS2004 folders in which you're adding the textures.
Airport textures file is aip210tx.zip and is available on SurClaro. Unzip the textures in FS2004\Texture folder.
Gerrish Gray's trees are available in AVSIM Library, filename trees_v3.zip. Please install as described in the readme, except that the file Trees_0.bgl should go in FS2004\Scenery\World\Scenery, and the textures in FS2004\Texture folder.
INSTALLATION:
1. After you have unzipped BFUbrook.zip to a temporary folder, you will end up with a directory called BFU Brooks which contains three folders: Effects, Scenery, Texture.
2. Go into the Effects folder and move the FX file to FS2004\Effects folder. This is required to display the fire and smoke of the burning oildrums and the campfire.
3. It is preferable to place all addon sceneries outside FS2004. I personally use G:\FSScenery for all scenery addons. Of course, your drive may be other than G:\ . Just drag the directory BFU Brooks (with all its contents) from the temporary folder over to FSScenery or wherever you group your addons.
4. Start FS2004. Go to 'Scenery Library', then 'Add Area'. Under 'Look in', browse to the location of BFU Brooks and double-click on it. Keep the option 'Use this scenery directly', then hit OK. The title of the scenery will appear on top of the Scenery Library list. Click OK to go back to the sim opening screen. Exit and restart FS2004.
5. You can go to BFU Brooks, Moose Camp or Moose Lodge by going to 'World', choose 'Go to Airport', then choose 'Search Add-on Scenery'. These should be on the list, with different start options. Also, for BFU Brooks, you can go to Coldfoot, Alaska, CXF airfield.
